Make it together

  1. Ask a grown-up to cut several wide strips of colorful paper.
  2. Draw a little heart or write a kind idea on each strip: help, share, smile or listen.
  3. Make a loop with the first strip and tape or glue its ends together.
  4. Thread each new strip through the last loop before joining it. Keep going to make a kindness chain!

Try this next

Invite each family member to choose a kind act to add. Hang your chain somewhere everyone can see.

Safety note: An adult should prepare scissors and help with cutting. Use glue or tape rather than staples.
