Make it together
- Ask a grown-up to cut a paper plate in half and draw four broad rainbow bands.
- Color each rainbow band in a different bright color. Let paint dry, if used.
- Glue cotton balls across the two bottom ends to make soft white clouds.
- Display your rainbow on a shelf or hang it with help from a grown-up.

Talk about the colors you see after rain. Younger children can use washable crayons on a pre-cut plate.
Safety note: An adult should handle the plate cutting. Cotton balls and glue are for supervised crafting, not for mouths.
