Diwali Count and Trace Numbers 1-5

About this activity:
Count the diyas, lanterns, sparklers, stars and flowers, then trace the numbers 1 to 5. A free Diwali math printable for preschool and pre-K.

Suggested age: 3–6 with grown-up support
You will need: US Letter paper, a printer and crayons or a pencil.

Steps:
1. Follow one line or letter with a finger first.
2. Trace slowly with a pencil or crayon, taking breaks.
3. Try the next line and celebrate the effort.

Skills practiced: Pre-writing, Hand-eye coordination, Fine motor skills
